III. Information on data processing

Your data processed when using our website will be deleted or blocked as soon as the purpose of storage ceases to apply, the deletion of the data does not conflict with statutory retention obligations and no other information on individual processing procedures is provided below.

Cookie Manager

To obtain consent for the use of technically non-necessary cookies on the website, the provider uses a cookie manager.

When the website is accessed, a cookie with the setting information is stored on the user's device so that the consent query does not have to be made on a subsequent visit.

The cookie is required to obtain legally compliant consent from the user.

The installation of cookies can be prevented or terminated by the user through browser settings.

Cookies

a) Session Cookies

We use so-called cookies on our website. Cookies are small text files or other storage technologies that are stored on your device by the internet browser you use. These cookies process certain information about you on an individual basis, such as your browser or location data or your IP address.

This processing makes our website more user-friendly, effective and secure, as the processing enables, for example, the reproduction of our website in different languages or the provision of a shopping cart function.

The legal basis for this processing is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR, provided that these cookies process data for contract initiation or contract processing. If the processing does not serve contract initiation or contract processing, our legitimate interest lies in improving the functionality of our website. The legal basis is then Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. These session cookies are deleted when you close your internet browser.

b) Third-party Cookies

If applicable, our website also uses cookies from partner companies with whom we cooperate for the purpose of advertising, analysis or functionalities of our website.

For details on this, in particular on the purposes and legal bases for processing such third-party cookies, please refer to the following information.

c) Removal Options

You can prevent or restrict the installation of cookies through a setting in your internet browser. You can also delete cookies that have already been stored at any time. However, the steps and measures required for this depend on the specific internet browser you use. If you have questions, please use the help function or documentation of your internet browser or contact its manufacturer or support. For so-called Flash cookies, however, processing cannot be prevented via browser settings. Instead, you must change the setting of your Flash player to this extent. The steps and measures required for this also depend on your specific Flash player. If you have questions, please also use the help function or documentation of your Flash player or contact the manufacturer or user support.

However, if you prevent or restrict the installation of cookies, this may result in not all functions of our website being fully usable.

Contact Requests / Contact Options

If you contact us via contact form or email, the data you provide will be used to process your request. The provision of data is necessary for processing and answering your request - without providing it, we cannot answer your request or can only answer it to a limited extent.

The legal basis for this processing is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.

Your data will be deleted if your request has been finally answered and deletion is not prevented by statutory retention obligations, such as in the case of any subsequent contract processing.

Server Data

For technical reasons, in particular to ensure a secure and stable website, data is transmitted by your internet browser to us or to our web space provider. These so-called server log files record, among other things, the type and version of your internet browser, the operating system, the website from which you accessed our website (referrer URL), the website(s) of our website that you visit, the date and time of the respective access, and the IP address of the internet connection from which our website is used.

This data collected in this way is temporarily stored, but not together with other data about you.

This storage is based on the legal basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in improving, stability, functionality and security of our website.

The data will be deleted again after seven days at the latest, unless further storage is required for evidence purposes. Otherwise, the data is wholly or partially exempted from deletion until the final clarification of an incident.

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics on our website, a web analytics service from Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland, a subsidiary of Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043 USA, hereinafter "Google".

Google Analytics helps us analyze the use of the website and measure the effectiveness of our marketing campaigns. The legal basis for this is Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. The user can revoke their consent to the use of Google Analytics in accordance with Art. 7(3) GDPR at any time via the "Cookie Settings" of our website for the future.

Information such as time, location and frequency of website visits as well as interactions with the website (e.g. click paths, viewed/clicked advertisements, clicks on links) including the user's IP address are transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there for a maximum of 2 months.

Google LLC is part of the "Data Privacy Framework" for which the EU Commission has issued an adequacy decision pursuant to Art. 45 GDPR:
https://www.dataprivacyframework.gov/list

Google also collects "demographic characteristics" and can create statistics that allow statements about the age, gender and interests of site visitors. This is done through automated analysis of advertising and information from third parties.

If the user has activated personalized ads in their Google account and consents to Google Analytics, Google can analyze usage behavior across devices - i.e. in relation to all devices that the user has linked to their Google account. Google creates models for cross-device conversions; only anonymous statistics are transmitted to us, no personal data.

If the user wants to deactivate this cross-device analysis, they can turn off the "Personalized Advertising" function in their Google account settings at the following link:
https://support.google.com/ads/answer/2662922?hl=en

We use Google Analytics with an anonymization function. This means that the user's IP address is shortened by Google within EU member states or in other contracting states of the EEA agreement.

Google uses the collected data to evaluate the user's website visit and to compile reports on website activities for us. The data is also used to provide other services related to website and internet usage. Google may pass on this information to third parties if legally required or if third parties process this data on behalf of Google.

According to its own statements, Google will never link the user's IP address with other Google data. Further information and options for preventing data use are provided by Google here:
https://www.google.com/intl/en/policies/privacy/partners

If the user does not agree with the collection, they can also prevent it by installing the browser add-on to deactivate Google Analytics once.

Google Tag Manager

To integrate various functions on our website, we use Google Tag Manager. This product comes from Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland, a subsidiary of Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043 USA, hereinafter "Google".

Google Tag Manager serves exclusively to integrate certain content into our website and to enable the management of these functions via an interface provided by Google.

When accessing the website, the corresponding functions are loaded from a Google server, which may also be located in the USA. The user's IP address is processed to provide the functions.

The functions used are listed exhaustively in our privacy policy. Consents not granted by the user for certain functions are also observed when using Google Tag Manager.

Google LLC is also part of the "Data Privacy Framework" for which the EU Commission has issued an adequacy decision pursuant to Art. 45 GDPR:
https://www.dataprivacyframework.gov/list

The legal basis for use is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest consists in optimizing and economically operating our website.

Google Fonts

On our website, we use Google Fonts to display external fonts. This is a service from Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland, hereinafter referred to as "Google".

To enable the display of certain fonts on our website, a connection to the Google server in the USA is established when our website is accessed.

The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in optimizing and economically operating our website.

Through the connection to Google established when accessing our website, Google can determine from which website your request was sent and to which IP address the font display should be transmitted.

Google offers further information at the following links, particularly on the possibilities of preventing data use:
https://adssettings.google.com/authenticated

Google reCAPTCHA

On our website, we use Google reCAPTCHA to check and prevent interactions on our website through automated access, e.g. by so-called bots. This is a service from Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland, hereinafter referred to as "Google".

Through this service, Google can determine from which website a request is sent and from which IP address you use the so-called reCAPTCHA input box. In addition to your IP address, other information may be collected by Google that is necessary for providing and ensuring this service.

The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in the security of our website and in warding off unwanted, automated access in the form of spam, etc.

Google provides further information on the general handling of your user data at https://policies.google.com/privacy.

jQuery CDN

To optimize the retrieval speed, design and display of the content of our website on different devices, we use the jQuery CDN service, a Content Delivery Network ("CDN"), on our website. This is a service of the jQuery Foundation, hereinafter referred to as "jQuery". jQuery is distributed for the JS Foundation via the StackPath CDN.

To be able to deliver the content of our website quickly, the service accesses so-called JavaScript libraries. Corresponding files are loaded from the CDN server, unless they are already present in your browser cache from visiting another website. In the case of connection to the CDN server, your IP address is recorded. It cannot be excluded that a connection to a server outside the EU takes place.

The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in accelerating the loading times of our website and in its optimization.

To prevent the execution of jQuery's JavaScript code altogether, you can install a so-called JavaScript blocker, such as noscript.net or ghostery.com. However, if you prevent or restrict the execution of JavaScript code, this may result in not all content and functions of our website being available for technical reasons.
